An antique diamond crescent brooch, set with approximately 6.00ct of old-cut diamonds, in a three row design, with graduating larger diamonds, in openwork arches in the centre row, grain set diamonds in the inner row, the outer row is formed of triangles, set with old-cut diamonds, some with surrounding rose-cut diamonds, tapering to rose-cut diamonds, mounted in silver-upon-gold, on a gold pierced gallery, circa 1890.
