Modern Plique à Jour Enamel, Diamond, Sapphire, Ruby and Gold Dragonfly Brooch

A modern gem set dragonfly brooch, with a cushion shaped faceted sapphire, weighing  0.86 carats, set in the thorax, with surrounding round brilliant-cut diamonds, with blue to green plique à jour enamel wings, set with old-cut diamonds, in the centre of the wings and in each wing tip and eight-cut diamonds, along the top wing edges and in the tail, with a total diamond weight of 2.77 carats, with cabochon ruby eyes, with a total ruby weight of 0.22 carats, the legs are engraved to represent hairs, mounted in 18ct gold.
