Pierre Brun French Emerald and Gold Cufflinks
A pair of Pierre Brun, French, vintage, emerald and gold cufflinks. The double links comprise an open circle with a row of channel set, square-cut emeralds, mounted in 18ct gold, circa 1955. With maker's marks for Pierre Brun and French eagle marks. Pierre Brun was a master goldsmith, making solid gold luxury items for many French "Haute Joaillerie" companies, such as Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Tiffany & Co., S.T. Dupont, Boucheron, Hermes and Mellerio. He also worked on pieces for other world known jewellers. His makers mark was P B with crossing corn cobs.
