Vintage French Van Cleef & Arpels Diamond Platinum and 18ct White Gold Stirrup Cufflinks, Circa 1960

A pair of French, Van Cleef & Arpels diamond, platinum and 18ct white gold stirrup cufflinks, with two round brilliant or Edwardian-cut diamonds, on each side, in grain box settings, onto polished platinum stirrups, with an air gap cut down the middle, with openings in the centre and hinged, white gold, curved back plates, marked Brevette S.D.D.G  guarantee marks, signed Van Cleef & Arpels on the side of one cufflink, with  design number 38481 on the other, French dog head marks for platinum and eagle marks, for 18ct gold on all parts and a  with a partial maker's mark, circa 1960.
