A vintage, coiled snake bracelet, with a polished hollow head, set with round brilliant-cut diamonds, with eight-cut diamonds, in bands, in the neck and tail, in white gold settings, the bracelet has two coils, of shield shape scale links forming the body, mounted in 18ct gold, made in Italy, with a 750 mark, circa 1960. In Victorian symbolism the snake biting its tail represented eternal love and the coiled snake signified eternity, this vintage bracelet continues the tradition.
