Art Deco Cartier Ruby and Platinum Dress Set, Circa 1930

A Cartier Art Deco ruby and platinum gentlemen's dress-set, comprising a pair of cufflinks, four buttons and two studs, the buttons and cufflink heads are each set with two rows of eight calibre-cut rubies, in box settings, the collar studs are set with a single row of three calibre-cut rubies, mounted in flat polished discs of platinum, signed Cartier London, the cufflinks are numbered 3672 and have platinum hinged, chain and bar fittings, each button is numbered 3673 and has a platinum loop on the reverse, for removable split ring fittings, the collar studs have disc back, screw fittings. The dress-set comes in its original, fitted, Cartier, red leather and gold tooled, half-moon shaped case, circa 1930.
