A French, Art Nouveau, diamond and gold brooch, by Louis Aucoc, with a glazed cartouche, with a scrolled surrounding, displaying a painted portrait miniature of a lady, with an 18th century hairstyle, with rose-cut diamond set flowers, including lily of the valley, with gold leaves. The reverse is stamped 'depose', with a French eagle mark for 18ct gold and an indistinct maker's mark for Louis Aucoc, with L above, A below and  a wolf passant with head to the left, circa 1900.
