Jean Schlumberger (1907-1987) is perhaps one of the most experimental and creative jewellers of all time. Schlumberger costume jewellery dates to the 1930s, but it was the 1950s, when Schlumberger spearheaded an independent jewellery design studio at Tiffany & Co., that his notoriety began.
