Vintage Oscar Heyman Sapphire Diamond and Platinum Flower Brooch, Circa 1964

Vintage Oscar Heyman sapphire, diamond and platinum flower brooch, in an abstract design of two flowers, one with a round faceted sapphire, in the centre of round brilliant cut diamond set petals, in claw settings and a baguette-cut sapphire stem, in channel settings and the other with a round brilliant cut diamond, in the centre of round faceted sapphire petals, in claw settings and a baguette-cut diamond stem, in channel settings, with marquise diamond set leaves, in claw settings, with flower engraving on the back of the flower centres and dot and dash engraving on stems, mounted in platinum, numbered 69671, stamped PLAT, Circa 1964. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity, from Oscar Heyman, stating that the brooch was manufactured by Oscar Heyman and Brothers, circa 1964; giving the stone weight details: 25, round cut sapphires, weighing 2.17 carats; 11, baguette-cut sapphires, weighing 1.50 carats; 33, round brilliant-cut diamonds, weighing 1.71 carats; 5, baguette-cut diamonds, weighing 0.32 carats and 3, marquise-cut diamonds, weighing 0.56 carats.
