A vintage sapphire, diamond and platinum bombé ring, set with an oval faceted Ceylon sapphire, with a surround of four round brilliant-cut diamonds and ten marquise sapphires in rub over settings and a surrounding bombé dome of pavé set round brilliant-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, on a wide band, circa 1960. Estimated sapphire weight 1.70 carats. Estimated total weight of diamonds 2.25 carats.
