A pair of vintage Hermès wood and gold cufflinks, with teak wood discs set in gold curved sided rectangles, with bar fittings, with French eagle head marks for 18ct gold, signed HERMES Paris, numbered 6077and 6074, with a maker's mark Sté and LFV, with an amphora, for Lasbleiz Fournier Vitiello, with scratched invoice marks 13.585, circa 1970.
The Lasbleiz Fournier Vitiello Company, was created by three friends, in 1962, specialising in the manufacture and wholesale of high-quality jewellery and silversmithin. They employed both technological innovations and traditional techniques. Located at 48 rue Meslay, in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris, the company is still independent and family-run. They are suppliers to major Parisian maisons and the most renowned international brands, such as Hermès, Cartier and Van Cleef and Arpels. The amphora, seen on their maker's mark, is the company trademark.
