A vintage sapphire, diamond, demantoid garnet, yellow and white gold snake bangle, with an oval faceted sapphire, in a rub over millegrain edged setting, in the head, surrounded by a cluster of eight-cut diamonds, in grain and millegrain egded settings, with demantoid garnet eyes and engraving in the head to represent scales, with teeth and a tongue in the mouth, the body is formed of twisted wire in alternating diagonal stripes of yellow and white gold, with a steel core, the tail is in engraved gold and curls round to clasp the head, mounted in 18ct gold, marked P.O 750, circa 1965.
